Mark and I were missionaries in Croatia in the early 90s and were witness to a number of individuals, families and teams who imploded as the “missionary endeavor” was undertaken by well-meaning but under-equipped missionaries and churches. We too were under-equipped and soon realized it.

In the 15 years we have been back in the US we havehad the joy of interacting with missionaries and mission teams as they have spent years in preparation and equipping. The road of equipping can be tedious, but we have always urged them to remain faithful to the process of preparation as an act of faithfulness to their mission calling.

We have seen the impact MRN has had on many of the teams we have watched launch. What MRN has brought to missions goes far beyond preventing missionary implosion to include richer more dynamic mission endeavors for the missionaries, the sending churches, and the Kingdom.

May God continue to enrich your endeavors.
